Available with a number of channels to suit any home theatre set up, Onkyo receivers can take your home cinema to the next level.
Onkyo was founded in Japan in 1946. The company began by researching pick-ups and loudspeaker chassis. By 1950, however, Onkyo had completed the development of the revolutionary non pressed PAPERS loudspeaker cone, opened a loudspeaker factory and announced itself on the consumer market with the release of its first HiFi player.
Onkyo’s commitment to research and development has never wavered, leading the company to create a number of innovative products that have both shaped the market and introduced first-class sound into homes throughout the world. In 1993, Onkyo released the world’s first THX AV receiver with the cooperation of LUCASFILM; in 2002, Onkyo released the world’s first AV home network receiver with Ethernet connection; and in 2007, Onkyo released the world’s first receivers featuring Dolby True HD, DTS-HD Master Audio and HQV Reon-VX.
Onkyo Australia offers a wide range of home theatre products that enable users to enjoy their favourite media with the highest quality sound. Onkyo AV receivers effectively manage sound coming from connected devices to deliver an optimised output; Onkyo networked AV receivers also give users access to endless musical entertainment through services like Spotify and Deezer.
