brother mfc-9330cdw multi-function laser printer is rated 4.160869565217391 out of 5 by 230.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Entry Level Laser Printer Very pleased with functions and print speed. Scan to Print function is average quality for photos or complex shaded graphics but the Scan to Screen function is flawless. Previous comments about duplex copying not working are incorrect as I found this feature to work on both copying and printing without issue. Machine is very quiet and goes to sleep between print jobs automatically without fuss. Overall I am very happy with the quality of the machine, it is a lot larger than an inkjet printer and while cartridges are more expensive they are better value for money long-term due to the higher yield. Gave 4 out of 5 as this machine cannot print images of photo quality like it inkjet predecessor can.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love It I've owned the MFC9440CN and liked it very much. It did everything I needed for many years. Eventually it was tie to buy another MFC and being used to all the features, settings, and the user interface I purchased the MFC9330. It is just as nice but has a smaller footprint - great. The one thing I am unhappy about though is that contrary to the 9440 this machine does not allow for printing single checks (smaller than half a page) when feeding them through the front. Consistently the checks get jammed and the only way I found to print them is by using a full page of paper as a guide sheet (put both into the front together). Otherwise - great system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice to have a colour laser writer I bought this about a month ago and set it up myself with a bit of help from the guys at Brother Tech Help. I haven't used it to it's full potential yet as I haven't tried to send files from my phone. What i really don't like is the Auto function for printing is full colour. As most of my documents don't need to be in colour I always have to go in an change it to mono to save the coloured ink. I have looked how to change it so that black is my default option but I can't see how to do it. Maybe a call to the tech guys would be in order. Everything else seems to be good and I've always used Brother MFCs and am happy with the quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use printer I'm happy with the Brother MFC-9330CDW Colour laser printer. It has worked well since I purchased it and has recently had all its Toner Cartridges replaced. The one that come with it don't last too long but that is expected. The cartridges are well designed and the entire thing doesn't have to be thrown out as with other printers. Just the toner hopper is replaced which I feel better about as far as carbon footprint. They are moderately expensive but not as expensive as the previous printer I had. I really like the fact that I can Airprint from my iphone or ipad with ease, a function that I couldn't do with the previous printer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Support I set up my printer and could get it to send scanned documents to my laptop via Wi-Fi. About 9 months later I am unable to send scan documents to my laptop and I called support. Support refused to assist me to add the applicaton to the exemption list of my anti virus and will not tell me what file to add to the list because I declined to pay for a yearly maintenance package I do not need. This has never happened to me with other software, I have actually had extensive support with similar issue when trying to connect to an external system via VPN. Why should I pay over $100 just to get this to work.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good price upfront but ongoing cost excessive We bought this approximately 6-9 months ago. We do mostly in-house printing, reports on toner-saving mode. Even so, we go through at least one toner unit (all colors) each month, black sometimes more often. I buy via Amazon, and pay around $80 each month for a 4 pack. We also just had to replace all drum units (there are 4). I wasn't aware of this separate replaceable piece when I bought the printer. That was $150.00. Now, the fuser roller is bad! Another $150+... This machine looks great upfront, but is costing me more and more each day. Print quality is fine, but overall NOT a good purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Quality MFC LED Printer I purchased this Brother MFC-9330CDW printer through Newegg after evaluating several laser printers. The 9330 has many features, good specs and the new LED technology. The installation was easy and the unit produces high quality documents. Two things I would change - having to get behind the printer and open the back compartment for bypass printing, and having to change the position of two plastic levers to print envelopes. It would also be nice to have an adapter for scanning slides like my Epson RX700 did. Overall, I believe the 9330 is a good value for the price and I would purchase it again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Guest I bought my printer in early 2014. I had a problem earlier this year. The rear heated roller lost its outer coating. All my print jobs ended up with an embossed line through them. Brother did repair it free of charge. It had been working fine on windows 8. After downloading windows 10 I found it would not work. After removing the program and reinstalling it with the CD that cam with the printer it still never worked with windows 10. I have reinstalled windows 8 and the printer is working fine again. Apparently brother are a bit slow in bringing out a new driver that will work on windows 10.
