General Delivery Information

We deliver to your home or office via our nationwide store network. Products are dispatched from your nearest Harvey Norman store. Delivery normally takes between five (5) to ten (10) days, or up to eight (8) weeks for furniture. If you're a Harvey Norman Online member, you can track its progress via My Account.

The delivery fee is calculated by the size and weight of the items, plus the delivery location. Multiple items can be fit into one box.

You can work out delivery costs for your purchase using the delivery cost calculator in Shopping Cart. Otherwise, delivery costs will be automatically calculated in Checkout and displayed as a line item in your costs.

Unfortunately, we cannot deliver one order to multiple delivery addresses; in this instance, you must order items separately and assign the different delivery addresses to each.

All deliveries must be signed for when you receive them; deliveries cannot be made to PO Boxes. If you are unable to take delivery of your items in person - or if you haven't received them within a reasonable period - Contact Us for further instructions.

When buying online, you also have the option to pick up your order from your nearest Harvey Norman store and avoid paying delivery charges. Simply select the Pick Up In-Store option and nominate your preferred location. When you complete your payment we will send you an email order confirmation and the store will contact you directly to confirm when your order will be ready to pick up.

Please note that only the person who placed the order may pick it up. When picking up your items, you're required to supply a copy of your order, photo ID and credit card used to make the purchase. (If you pay via PayPal, your credit card is not required).

Our Delivery Promise

If you order an in-stock product by 3pm on a weekday, we can have it delivered the next day*. So should your old fridge suddenly break down, Harvey Norman can get a new one to you as soon as possible. We'll contact you the day prior to delivery to confirm your details and give you an estimated delivery time. On the delivery day itself, the driver will contact you one hour before arrival to confirm that you will be at home to receive your order.

To make things even easier, our premium delivery service can provide installation* of your new fridge, and removal of your old fridge and any packaging*.


When we remove your old appliances, we ensure that our impact on the environment is minimised by recycling as many components as possible.

* To check fridge is in store, please check with a local store or live chat. Delivery, unpacking, installation, connection and/or removal of appliances will be arranged for a time convenient to both parties. Product(s) removed must be of equivalent size and quantity to the product(s) purchased. Installation is standard installation only. Connection to fridges with ice and water is not included. Disconnection of old appliance not included. The, franchise and/or its delivery contractors reserve the right to refuse removal if, in their reasonable opinion, the product(s) are soiled, wet and/or pose an OHS risk. Delivery promise will be within 25 kilometers of local Harvey Norman Store.
