Rated 5 out of 5 by Kyle6811 from Brilliant tablet and pc replacement I bought the m3 Surface pro 4 a couple of weeks ago to replace my iPad and old laptop. I didn't want to have to buy two things and I wasn't particularly interested in the iPad Pro because it can't run programs like the Surface. It has been awesome! I've used it as a tablet just as easily as a pc and I've even played some light games on it. The screen is awesome. The kickstand is awesome. Don't know how I used an iPad without a kickstand? Anyway, if you're a student like me then you'll love the m3. It's dead quiet, quite cool running and has run everything I've thrown at it. The portability and versatility can't be matched at the same price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by P0T4T0_AIM from It's Ok. I guess. Gets the job done. I got the Surface Pro 4 after my MacBook Air gave up. I like the Surface Pro 4, but I don't love it. I think some of it's features are just gimmicks and don't really have an obvious use. For example, the super high-res display is great and all, but is it really needed? I think a 1080p or 1440p display would've done fine since of it's small screen size, and would've cut costs. Also, only after 3 months, I have light bleeding in my display :(. The Surface Pro 4 is a good device but it's kinda gimmicky and too expensive. It also doesn't feel as responsive, smooth and fast, like my old MacBook Air did. So I'd give it a meh....

Rated 1 out of 5 by timecodestudios from Highly Anticipated, Massive Let Down I purchased a 256gb 16gb ram i7 surface pro in the hopes to replace my desktop environment, however right out of the box it doesn't wake from sleep, and constantly freezes and blue screens to the point where literally unusuable (having to hold the on button for 30 seconds to reboot every time I wanted to use it, or having it freeze while using) I tried running Windows update, updating to the latest firmware and eventually even reloading windows, but the constant blue screens, freezing and not waking from sleep didn't stop. Reading other forums revealed I certainly wasn't alone with this behavior from the Surface Pro 4. I eventually had to return it after a few days of wasting time trying to fix it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cognisant Consultant from Very happy Surface Pro 4 user Firstly I am an independent consultant who travels to client sites for engagements across the country and I rely on my Surface for these engagements. I have also realised you can’t take hard copies of materials or carry reference data everywhere you go so I am paperless with everything in the cloud. I am deployed to Sydney at present travel to rail depots across the state deploying enterprise asset management for trains. I also use Skype a lot for staying in touch and when working in Africa more reliable than some countries national communications infrastructure. As I rely on Surface Pro as my tool of trade I am extremely happy with it. I just open it up and it works as i expect it too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JamesC from Best Surface yet! I have read all the bugs and hardware problems some have had in the US. Mine works like a dream! Super fast, never gets hot, I've only hear the fan twice, fantastic high-res screen, pens great to use in for Onenote taking at Uni, annotating friends assignments and sending them back is super easy! Battery life could be better, but with brightness at 0% it saves battery and hurts your eyes less. At Uni, you either pick a mac or you don't. My Surface is amazing and I love it. Especially the bright blue keyboard colour!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Monish from Dont fall into trap... Bought surface pro 4 i5 256GB model couple of weeks back and literally started showing problems very next day itself. Heating up a lot, battery drains at sleep mode, screen wont turn up once it went to sleep mode. I took my surface pro to service centre and said me like the issue is with intel processor and they are trying to fix it. That means the processor they launched is not a stable version, and literally you cant put your surface in sleep mode. Everytime you have to shutdown your surface or else it will become a heater soon.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Shannon325686 from Great concept... I'm a surface pro fan. I upgraded from surface pro 3 to the pro 4 after I accidentally broke my pro 3. The pro 4 lives up to all expectations except the battery life. I only get 5-6 hours of battery life from a full charge. This is when using programs such as excel, word and one note. I'm finding I need to charge it twice a day. I'm assuming it's a software issue as I had no problems with the pro 3.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Danex from "Double Whammy" - An unpleasnt Experience I was so excited upon receiving my Surface Pro 4 i7, 16gb ram, 256gb. I waited for the extra month to get the High end Model. What I received was a Lemon, the left speaker was not working, the software didn't work too well, basically the device itself was not in good shape. So I had a replacement sent, No Hardware issues like my first device, but I experienced 3 crashes under 2 weeks of using the device just from basic web-browsing and listening to Music. There are many other issues such as the device not sleeping correctly even with the recent update(23/12/2015). I however love the concept of the device and fully support it! At the "Current Time" I would recommend holding out for a short time until "Most" of the major issues are ironed out or if you can deal with the short comings of the software issues, then there shouldn't be any problems.
