Do not steam or wet mop your floor and do not use wax, oil, soap or other household cleaners on your floor. If you have pets indoors, keep their nails trimmed. Use felt or plastic protector pads on furniture legs and make use of walk-off doormats to avoid bringing in dirt, water and sand into your home. Use a de-humidifier/humidifier to maintain indoor humidity levels of 35% - 55%.
