Rated 5 out of 5 by from My best Nikon yet I've owned Nikons for 50+ years, including a decade spent in newspaper photojournalism, and the D750 is my best Nikon body yet. In the past decade I've upgraded every few years starting with the D50. I had been quite happy with the images produced by the D7000 but I wanted to begin to move towards full frame sensor. The D750 is a great transition as it can use both DX and FX lenses on the fly. The upgrade has been very worthwhile. The speed of autofocus, the processing speed when taking a dozen shots rapid fire and the ability to shoot at low light levels has been exhilarating. I've included a few photos of birds shot in the past week.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No-flash Juggernaut! I bought this agile little gem just over a month ago for no-flash pics and I couldn't be happier! Let's be frank, I am NOT a pro. But I am very discerning about the quality of the caps I take, and this camera does not disappoint. I wanted something to replace my lovable D90 so I could take gig-photos without the flash that so infuriates the bands. After a first night of pics at 3200 and 12,800 ISO, I am very much in love with this night-stalker! Even at 12,800, the grain is as aesthetically pleasing as a good film and there is no hot-pixel noise. And just to cap it off, a hand-held star pic isn't out of the question. I'll let a couple examples do the talking

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3 months review Bought this as an upgrade from the D80 after 9 yrs. Comparing the D80 to this D750 is quite unfair since the D750 is an FX and the D80 is fairly old. The D750 have fairly low noise at high ISO. I can shoot at 6400+ ISO and the images are still way better than the D80 @ 400 ISO. The AF is quite spectacular in low-light situations also without the need of AF-assist. I haven't had the flare-band defect that people have been talking about. The camera is also very light (about the same as D80 with 50mm 1.8D on). The body is quite small and it feels similar to my D80 in the hand. I'm glad I made the upgrade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I was looking for a good less expensive full frame camera to use as a back-up to my D4 for portraits and weddings. I didn't go for the D810 because I really didn't need all those megapixels and I wanted something that shot more FPS than the D810. The D750 fits the bill! Honestly, the image quality between this and the D4 looks the same to me. Beautiful! The only issue I have is that the camera is a little too light. I like a heavier camera body as it makes it easier to balance against the heavy pro lenses I shoot with. But, I plan on purchasing the battery grip for the D750 which should solve that problem. With a nifty fifty attached to this camera, the light weight comes in handy as a walk around camera. Very happy with my purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Built like a tank! I LOVE my D750! I've only had it for about a month but as life would have it, the poor thing has already seen some busy and rough days. Two days after receiving it, my daughter knocked it off of the tabletop with my 70-200 lens attached. I knew that it would be destroyed .. BUT IT WASN'T! No change at all still worked amazing.... last weekend, while photographing a wedding, I was jumping down from a bar stool where I had been standing to get a shot I wanted..someone let go of my stool and it turned and me and the camera went flying. There was much concern, (as well as me being very embarrassed) but my concern was only about my camera which I had fallen on top of... it still works like a charm! Thank you Nikon for making a quality product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Home Run I received an email from the Manager of the local camera store and said to come in Tuesday afternoon and I could use the new D750. I took 40+ photos saving to my memory card using JPEG and RAW. I like the new larger grip area, it's deeper. The camera functions well and the sound of the shutter mechanism is sold. The tilt feature on the LCD panel appears to be solid. Everything looks very nice, can't wait to see the professional reviewers and DxO results. What I can tell you after taking pictures with the 28-300 F3.5-5.6 G ED VR AFS lens is that the inside and outside shots were terrific. Using AUTO ISO at F6.3 I have looked at the pictures on my monitor and I am very impressed with pictures at ISO 1400, 2200, 4000, and 7200. Very very nice sharpness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice to handle, great pictures! Thoroughly enjoy this camera. Fits my hands perfectly, easily adjusted to conditions, fast and reliable. Pictures are VERY sharp! Downside is the 500 page users manual... WOW, Not sure I will use all the features but being old school most of them I have little interest except the HD video. WOW again!! The two memory slots are great too. LOTS of storage. I did buy two extra batteries but after shooting a lot of pictures and video I think I over did it. The battery seems to hold up a lot longer than I expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best value of money Its a great camera for high end use. Each and every thing in this camera is up to the mark or beyond. I am also using D7000 and D7200. But the only one thing lacking in this Fx is max shutter speed is only 1/4000. D7000 and D7200 has 1/8000. D750 is not a entry level camera like D3xxx and D5xxx series. Both of these series have max shutter speed as 1/4000. Then why Nikon gave entry level shutter speed to this near pro Fx camera? Otherwise in case of IQ and performance no one cat beat this D750.
