Rated 1 out of 5 by from This product (or the specimin I purchased) is not worthy of the Phillips name. I purchased the product in good faith (indeed it was an anniversary gift from my wife). From the start, the shaver would not cut my bristle. I have always bought Phillips Shavers but this one was a horror. It caused me to get an angry rash along the lower LEFT SIDE of my neck. I have no idea why! I still have my past shaver (2 years old) and it still gives a good shave but is due for new blades (Phillips). I persevered for one week but returned it for a full refund which they were not real happy about giving me. No - I did not exchange it - I believe in once bitten, twice shy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for sensitive skin I have a medium strength light coloured beard and sensitive skin. I find that this shaver gives me a good shave with little or minor skin irritation. Previous to getting this razor I was shaving with a safety razor which I still like to use. However, I can't use a safety razor everyday as my skin can't take. Generally now I use my Phillips razor and find the shave pretty good. If I want or need to get a closer shave and have the time to do it, I follow up with my safety razor. In short a good razor which I am very happy with.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great design, but...! The shaver has been well designed and fits into my hands well. The easy interchangeable heads are a snap as is the ease of cleaning. However, I thought I was buying a razor would give me a really close shave but this isn't the case. I specifically went for a more expensive model rather the base model to achieve a good result but alas this wasn't the case.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quite dis-satisfied it did not perform any better than my old Philipps which I thought needed ah new head, I keep pushing the off button when using the shaver,it does not have a separate cutting head like my old one which I used for various shaving eg legs,chest etc. So no I am nor really happy with it especially as it was not cheap

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Keep it clean and it works great Worked great for a couple of months then I noticed a performance drop. So I reviewed the operating manual and found you need to remove the individual shave heads every month and clean them. They get full of whiskers that you don't notice under daily washing. Once cleaned performance returned.

It is great being able to swap the razor and sideburn cutter heads but I wish it were easier to do. One think I don't like is the case. If you put the shaver in there is no room for the other head or the charge cord

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Just doesn't do the job I was very excited as hate razors even though I don't have a heavy beard growth. However, even using special preparatory cream and following the instructions I felt a remaining stubble. It is my intention to use the 60 day cash back - sorry, I am but very disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wheres the strap My 2 previous Phillips Wet & dry shavers have had a strap to hang them by. The strap has been eliminated from this model, sounds like not much but it is much nicer hanging to dry after wet use than sitting on the shelf where the water drains back under the shaver.
