Domayne @ Harvey Norman Alexandria Windows 8 Promotion (“Promotion”) Terms and Conditions of Entry (“Terms”) 1. Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms. 2. The Promotion commences on Thursday, 25th October 2012 at 6pm AEDT and closes on Thursday, 25th October 2012 at 11:30pm AEDT (“Promotional Period”). 3. To enter the Promotion, entrants must pre-order and pay for in full a copy of Windows 8 from the Domayne @ Harvey Norman Alexandria Franchise (“Franchise”) during the Promotional Period and complete an entry form with their full name, address and daytime telephone number. 4. One entry per person per invoice only. 5. There are eight (8) Prizes. The Prize is each drawn Winners pick from the Prize List until all Prizes are exhausted. The Prize List Contains: One (1) Toshiba Touch-Screen Ultrabook PSUL1A00S001 valued at $1,676. One (1) Hewlett Packard Envy Sleek-Book C885SPA valued at $1,387. One (1) Hewlett Packard Envy Touch- Smart H3W0BAA valued at $1,386. One (1) Toshiba Satellite Notebook PSKGEA-003001 valued at $1,276 or one (1) of four (4) Nokia Windows Phone Lumia 900 Valued at $399. (“the Prize List”). 6. The first drawn Winner will be the first person in Australia to purchase Windows 8 and have their copy sold to them by Gerry Harvey and have the first pick from the Prize List. 7. The total value of the Prizes is $7,321. 8. Winners are determined at random. 9. There are five (5) Draws for the Prizes. The Draw for the Prizes will take place at Domayne @ Harvey Norman Alexandria, 84 O’Riordan Street, Alexandria NSW 2015 on Thursday, 25th October 2012 at 11:45pm. (“Draw”). 10. The Winners will be announced in-store on Thursday, 25th October 2012, advised in writing and their details published in the Australian on Wednesday, 31st October 2012 (“Winner”). 11. To be eligible to win the Prize, the entrant must be present in store on Thursday, 25th October 2012 at 11:45pm. 12. If the Winner does not claim their Prize within 5 minutes of being announced, then a redraw will take place until all Winners have been determined. 13. Entrants agree to give consent to be filmed with the possibility of being on television for publicity purposes. 14. If a Winner is under 18 years old, the Prize will be awarded to the Winner’s parent or guardian. 15. The Promoter and the Franchise reserve the right to announce and/or publish the Winners name and/or photograph for publicity purposes. 16. Entries that are illegible, incomplete or do not comply with these Terms are invalid. 17. If an entry is deemed invalid a redraw will take place. 18. The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries and claims for Prizes and reserves the right to disqualify an entrant where the entry process has been tampered with. 19. The Promoter is not responsible if the value of the Prizes changes between the date of publication of these Terms and the date the Prizes are awarded. 20. The Promoter may at its absolute discretion, suspend, cancel or recommence the Promotion if (a) for any reason the Promotion is not capable of proceeding as planned; (b) if the Promotion is corrupted or the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion is affected; or (c) if the determination of the winners or delivery of prizes is prevented or hindered by any event outside the Promoter’s control. 21. Except for any liability not excluded by law, entrants release and indemnify the Promoter from and against all actions, claims and liabilities, that the entrant now has or in the future may have against the Promoter for any loss, damage or injury (including any special or consequential loss) suffered as a direct or indirect result of the entrant’s participation in the Promotion. 22. The Promoter’s decision in relation to this Promotion is final and binding on entrants and the Promoter will not enter into any correspondence. 23. By entering the Promotion, entrants consent to their personal information being used by the Promoter, the Franchisee and/or the Franchisor for the purpose of conducting this Promotion and notifying the Winner. All personal details of the entrant will be stored at the offices of the Franchisee. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to that office.
