World Talk - Learn Dutch
Overview
Improve your understanding of Dutch with listening games. World Talk Dutch is aimed at intermediate level learners who have already built up some confidence listening to and speaking Dutch. The interactive games and quizzes will help to further develop fluency and understanding of the language.
Addictive Listening Games
It's easy to be fazed when you start a conversation in Dutch and the person you're talking to replies using lots of words that you haven't learned yet. World Talk Dutch prepares you for these real-life situations with addictive listening games. It will teach you to recognise key words in everyday situations and broaden your vocabulary.
Key Words
If your Dutch is good enough to follow basic conversations but you still need to practice, World Talk Dutch is for you. Everything you'll hear in the program is in Dutch, but you don't need to know every word before you start. Listen for key words that you already know, then pick up new words in the same way you would when talking to a native speaker.
Keep on Listening
When a word comes up that we don't recognise, we often stop listening because we're focusing on that one word and nothing else. World Talk Dutch lets you grasp the gist of what someone's saying without getting hung up on the words you don't understand.
10 Language Games
You will develop your practical knowledge of Dutch. There are 10 different games covering numbers, conversations, descriptions, sentence building, directions and dictation practice. These activities cover a wide range of subjects and give you important practical skills that you can use immediately.
Dictation Exercises
Speak and write in Dutch. Record yourself and compare your pronunciation with a native speaker, then test your written Dutch with dictation exercises.
Immersive Experience
World Talk Dutch is an immersive experience that you'll start to think in Dutch. You will only hear Dutch and you'll learn to associate the language with memorable images - not just the equivalent words in your own language. This means you'll start thinking in Dutch, which will make you quicker at understanding and recalling words.

Delivery
Deliveries usually ship within 2 days from our nationwide store network. The delivery price is calculated based on your location and the size of the product. Occasionally delivery may take longer if the product you ordered is not currently in stock. If this occurs one of our helpful sales staff will contact you.
Free Pick Up In Store
Can’t wait for delivery or don’t want to pay additional charges? It’s incredibly simple to pick up your online order in store and get your hands on your product quickly and easily. Simply select the Free pick up in store option and head to your nearest Harvey Norman store to pick up your order.
1.During checkout, select “Free pick up in store” and select your preferred store.
2.After your order is placed, you will receive an “order confirmation email” with your “order confirmation number” (this is usually sent out within 2 hours).
3.Once the store has confirmed your order and reserved the stock, you will receive an email “Ready for collection”
4.Bring your "order confirmation number" to the store you selected for pick up, along with photo ID and the credit card you used to make the order.
5.Speak to one of our staff and your order should be processed in minutes.
Easy returns
If you feel your product has failed a Consumer Guarantee (as defined by Australian Consumer Law) then don't worry you can easily return it to your local Harvey Norman store. We'll even pay for the postage if you live in an area where there is no store. Our returns policy covers any purchased item (conditions apply).
