Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fragile Only dropped my x1 controller out of my lap which was maximum 3 feet and the controller quit working."Feels solid and is better built compared to the older controllers" absolutely not, my 7 xbox 360 controllers have been through abuse to the max including throwing one threw a wall and they still work completely including all the buttons. My x1 controller won't even turn on after that 3 ft fall. It would be great if you guys made things to last, but hey where's the profit in that?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Awesome...When wired. When it's connected via the USB it functions wonderfully but running it wirelessly strips it of most of its features as it becomes a non-Microsoft controller. At this point you cannot use the Xbox button as it no longer works, you cannot tell how much battery power you have left & because of the latter there is no warning when the battery is low & it just dies mid-game. This is not a hardware issue but a software problem that Microsoft is failing to deal with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, solid feel. Responsive and headphone jack. Bought as a second control for new console. Might not need as most games are only multi-player online ONLY. Split-screen play in the same room seems to be dying. The built in headphone jack is a plus. Works fine, but limited instructions made it difficult to get the headset working. Found instructions online and works great. Seems responsive and built very well. Not a big gamer, so not much to compare to. Kids seem to love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One a year do yourself a favor It's been a year since I got my Xbox One and the controller was getting a little loose. It's still in good shape as I use it moderately but you do end up dropping them occasionally. Needed a second controller and wanted to have some fresh sticks for myself and allow for a second player. Love using it on my PC with the wireless adapter on Windows 10.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Every controller I have purchased usually messed up within a week and this one seems to be a different model or batch because it now has the plug to plug your headset straight in without the chat adapter and so I am thinking because of it being a different controller model or whatever is the reason why I haven't had any issues with it so far

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not very durable My son broke one of my two controllers but throwing it on the floor -- not penalizing Microsoft but I have 6 different 360 controllers and never had one break. My other controller was a Day One controller and has now developed a slow drift up on the right stick. So after 2 years with these I have burned through 2 controllers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Complete control! I had a year one controller that started to fail. After searching for a new one online, I found the Microsoft store was the best option. The controller works great. It's extremely responsive and the 3.5 mm jack is great for my headset.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much better than the old controller Now that this controller has a 3.5 jack now I could have the best gaming experience with my earbuds but the bad thing is it doesn't work with Apple headphones sadly so you would have to go a store and buy actual headphone.
