Rated 3 out of 5 by L Mac from Lots of features but can be very frustrating The best selling points: - its quiet - its large capacity - its energy rating - though I only use the machine for approx. 5 hrs per week - so my electricity charges have not significantly increased. Disappointing or poor features: - the dry sensor seems off - despite all settings on Extra Cupboard Dry, the load has areas of dampness at the end of the cycle i.e. not Cupboard Dry. This can happen after a 2.5 hr cycle. - the Outdoor wear cycle leaves items VERY damp. Load has to be dried again on the Synthetics cycle. There is a lot of trial and error in using this unit and I'm not totally satisfied.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Lindasaxby78 from Soft - warm and mould free! Totally different to my old ( normal?) dryer. Does a ace job but clothes came out differently had to try afew features to sort out my lauradry suitability , see what dried best. It does sometimes make a high pitch sound. Not sure if that's right. But apart from that it's awesome and my husband is a keen electricity bill watcher so waiting on seeing next few bills/ compare The heat pump thingie to normal bill in a month or two. We linked up the hose to the drain and that works well - we re too lazy to empty the water catchment thingie. Double filters are nice and catch lots of bits - easy to clean out and loving no wet heat in that end of the house . Love it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Ronnie33 from A FEW CONCERNS I have noticed right from the first use that the drawer where the water gets stored from the dryer that the front of it has warped out of shape from the heat that the dryer exerts on the plastic. The lower left hand side now protrudes out from the face of the machine and is slowly getting worse with every use. The other issue I have found that my towels are loosing their vibrant colour with every time I put them in the dryer, I never had an issue with them loosing colour in the normal wash until I dried them in the dryer. Whether it's the heat from drying them, but if I was told that I wouldn't have purchased this dryer .

Rated 5 out of 5 by MM01 from Better than expected We had to shop for a new machine as our old top loader had finished it's run. We originally were not fans of the front loaders. However after the sales representative explained the features and benefits of this product, we decided to go ahead and purchase. It is amazing thus far. The 30min cycle is fantastic for that quick, normal wash, and the programming for the others cycles is great. Just push the selection buttons until the details you require pop up, select that cycle and the temperature you wish to wash at and the machine does the rest. I can fit a whole queen size and single doona in the wash together. WOW!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Belly from great washing machine the machine is excellent. washes really well, spins really well, so quiet and so balanced. The only problem i have had so far, is the wool setting has successfully shrunk EVERY single woolen item i've washed. i haven't had time to go back over the instruction manual as I'm sure this shouldn't happen. other than that, i love the machine. in fact, i've recommended the same machine to 3 other people, all of which bought one too - my parents, my ex-wife and a friend. all have provided the same feedback as i have above - awesome machine, but the wool setting is junk. id be more than happy to expand if you would like.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Dan176 from A clothes dryer that quits before the job is done It's new to me and I've only used it a couple of times so far and now its summer. Thoughts so far: - Noisier than I'd expected. Tolerable but noisier than the one that previously serviced us for 15yrs. I'd expected more progress on the stealth front. - "Cupboard dry" cotton, results in a damp finished product. You have to go "Cupboard +" or "Extra dry" if you actually want dry clothes. No one puts damp clothes in a cupboard, so why call it that? - The damp feel is accentuated because the clothes aren't toasty warm like my old dryer. Dehumidifier vs heater element. Probably better (less harsh) for the clothes, unless they rot because they're damp... - I haven't yet contacted AEG on this, so not an issue in terms of their service

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lee888 from An excellent dryer to compliment our amazing washer Wow! Just as our new AEG washer was amazing, so is our new dryer. We chose it for the energy efficiency, however the dryer itself is much more than that. I did feel that I would not be technically savvy enough to operate it, however have been quite surprised at how easy it actually was. First load of towels out of the washer and straight into the dryer, are now fluffy and dry. Cant believe how quiet it was and we did not even select the quiet mode. We hooked it up so that the moisture would go directly down the drain. Our laundry is dry! Not like it was with our old dryer, where the laundry would be wet and hot with condensation. Second load in of Jeans have been on for 20 minutes and we still have a dry laundry. Like I said, EXCELLENT!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lee888 from So excited to have an amazing washer! Our new washer arrived today and I couldn't wait to get the first load in. I was a bit scared of moving up to a digital machine as I have only had basic machines until now. I am so surprised how easy it was to operate! I decided to start with a simple load of towels. The cycle was very quiet and most of the noise came from filling. When it finished, I opened the door and a light came on shining inside. Very cool! The towels came out very well spun. Just put on the next load and still cant believe how easy it is to operate!
