Rated 1 out of 5 by torbjornk from Good sound - terrible microphone I already have Bose QC20 (and QC 25), so I was really looking forward to the wireless version of the in ear product. Listening to music is great, and the bose app is excellent for connecting e.g. both an Ipad and Iphone at the same time. However - the quality using the mic when talking on the phone is so terrible that the other person cannot hear what I am saying, and I hear all kinds of scratches and noises. I hoped the situation would improve after the latest IOS upgrade (to 10.1.1) - but unfortunately it is still the same issue. As of now - I can only answers calls by not using the QC30 - and that is an disappointment...

Rated 5 out of 5 by Marvin from excellent sound!!!! I have been a Bose customer for a long time. I couldn't wait until Bose put out the Bluetooth ear-buds. I work overseas as a contractor & having a Bluetooth headphones is a must especially when traveling. The sound and ear-fit are FANTASTIC!! as previous reviews have indicated. I had to rate the QC-30 comfort as fair because if a Man doesn't have size 15-inch neck or smaller these Headphones will swivel on your neck & are very uncomfortable. I HOPE Bose will re-consider & modify these. Bose is expensive but I'm willing to pay for the QUALITY. FYI-take a look at the size of the LG-910s perfect fit for a man with a large neck. Thank You Bose

I was a bit worried at first because of some comments on the quality and issues with noise for this headphones. But when I got mine recently I am glad all these issues were not there. So I am glad all these are fixed by Bose. The headphones feels good and comfortable like all the Bose headphone that i have. One thing I hope is that they will bring the same software update as QC35 II on the noise cancelling control. Basically we don't need 10 steps control on the NC. Just a quick On/Off or Mid level will do. I doubt anyone needs to adjust 10 times up and down on the NC level. All in all, great product!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Incisive from Many problems After buying just about everything Bose (remember 901 mk II), this one is not very good. My iPod being in my pocket, these earphones cut in and out constantly. The lanyard buttons have a big throw on them, making them hard to use. Lack of tactile feedback on the buttons disturbs me as well. The length of the wires to the earbuds is too short. Turn my head and the while thing sounds around on my shoulders. I tried many different pairs with no better result. The problem is with these earphones, not the other products. The actual runtime on a single charge has decreased to under three hours of use even though the unit is only three months old.

The call quality is lacking not as good as music and the mic seems really quiet to callers. The call audio has a thin quality to it. The stock iphone7 earbuds calls sound better and mic sounds better to callers. I have a pair of LG necklace style headphones they have better mic and call quality. The music sound is great so if you are using them for listening to audio on a plane then these are 5 star bluetooth headphones. Hopefully a firmware update will fix the call quality and mic.Also not sure about long term durability as the earbuds will hang when not in your ear. LG Headphones also have a place to stow the buds...

The noise cancellation and the quality of the speakers is outstanding. The charging is only for 10 hrs so you have to ensure regular charge, but charges quickly. It does not feel like you have a neckband around and is very nicely designed. Call quality has been great for me and have not experienced any issues with the same. Once you use them, you will not want to use any other headphones. Recommendation for Bose would be to enable multiple bluetooth device sync seamlessly like the Apple Airpods. Overall great value for the purchase!

Purchased a pair of Quietcomfort 30 today and had Bluetooth issue with drop outs when exercising lightly, mostly walking, barely sweating, with iPhone 6s plus IOS 10.0.2 in left pocket. Crazy thing is when you look right and down it really drops audio badly. I believe Bluetooth antenna must be in right side on neckband. I reset phone, Bluetooth connections, headphones etc many times. Exchanged headset a few hours later for another, and even tried connecting to Samsung tablet. Same thing! BEWARE! Bad batch at same store or BOSE let this product out before it was ready? Not sure...

Rated 2 out of 5 by Chedly from Not at all as advertised After a month of ownership, I can say that the QC30 is not at all as advertised. The noise cancelling feature is not very effective to cancel background noise like over-ear headphones. The QC30 only reduces the noise level. So be aware of that before you buy. If you want full noise cancelling go with the QC35. I know it is less practical than the QC30 but you'll pay for what you get. Sometimes the QC30 also jams and the Bluetooth signal is cut from the iPhone so the music is playing full loud on your phone. Very embarrassing especially when in office! I must admit that the sound quality is still excellent like any Bose headphone.
