Common Online Purchase Questions
You will receive a ‘ready to pick up’ email from Harvey Norman Online when your purchase is ready to collect.
Don’t forget to bring along:
- Your valid photo ID. Please Note: South Australian digital licences will not be accepted – a physical licence or pass must be shown.
- Your order confirmation number from Harvey Norman Online – the 10 digit number at the top of your ‘Order Confirmation’ email
- The credit card used for your purchase (excludes PayPal transaction)

Yes, to authorise someone else to collect your purchase, simply select 'Nominate Pick-Up Person' below and submit their details.
Your nominated pick-up person will be required to present the following at the selected Harvey Norman franchised store:
- Their valid photo ID. Please Note: South Australian digital licences will not be accepted – a physical licence or pass must be shown.
- The order confirmation number from Harvey Norman Online — you’ll find this 10-digit number at the top of your ‘Order Confirmation’ email
Delivery times are dependent on the store stock levels in your local area.
General Delivery Timeframes:
- In stock items – Typically dispatched in 2-4 business days**
- Customer Direct items – Typically dispatched in 4-10 business days**
**In some instances, your item may not be dispatched within these time frames and you will be notified as soon as possible.
For small to medium in-stock products, you can track your order through My Account or use Live Chat for courier tracking details.
For large items, once your order is processed you will receive an email notification and a call from the store to organise a suitable time for delivery. Some items may have to be ordered in.
Absolutely! Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email providing you with a tracking number and link to our delivery partner’s website, where you can monitor the tracking process. We recommend order tracking as it offers:
- Reassurance that your order has been processed
- Visibility on the shipping status
- An estimated delivery date
For large items, once your order is processed you will receive an email notification and a call from the store to organise a suitable time for delivery. Some items may have to be ordered in.
You can now safely collect your Harvey Norman Online purchase from the carpark of your selected pick up store*, completely contact free.
Use the 'Free pick up in store' option in the cart and choose your preferred pick up location.
A 'ready to pick up' email will be sent to you when your purchase is ready for collection.
Click the ‘I'm on my way’ link in the email for instructions on where to park.
On arrival, stay in your car and click the ‘I'm here’ button and provide your car details to help us find you.
A staff member will safely deliver your purchase to your car, completely contact free.
