Rated 1 out of 5 by tomtom from Would not recommend this cook top I would not recommend this cook top as it only last a short time (11mths).We were told that its because of ventilation. But the installation manual is different to what omega gave our local repairer. The manual show's no cut in the kick board at all. So I think omega need to make sure that the customer is aware of the process that is needed for this product. Spoke to our kitchen people and they have fitted heaps of induction cook tops and his the first time they have heard of this type of installation. So maybe OMEGA needs to look at their product as it maybe more the product than the installation.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Unhappy from Load of junk I had the OI64BB induction cooktop installed in my new home. It has failed twice. The company says it was not installed correctly and are suggesting that ventilation is a problem. After 4 years the installer came back and added ventilation in the side and back inside the cupboard. The company would help out with repairs if we were to cut holes in the cupboards on the outside. This is not a good look and I have declined the offer and will be buying a different, more reliable brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Yasmin from Amazing Induction Cooktop This cooktop is just great. Induction just makes life faster and easier as it makes my cooking time more enjoyable. Induction gives a lot of power to cooking and makes cleaning easier as I do not need to wait the cooktop to cool down, the heat goes basically to the pan. However installation is an issue, this model is not made to plug and play and requires a good install agent so you don't risk having issues with the product itself.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Alicia from Unreliable and expensive Our Omega induction cooktop was expensive and blew up at less than 8 years old. The repair guy says it will be too expensive to fix so we should just buy a new one. While it is out of warranty, it is unacceptable that such a product last less than 8 years. As a consumer we have a reasonable expectation that such a product should not need replacing every 8 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DeLucca from In love with induction I replaced my old cooktop which was from a "fancier" brand and this one is just as good as. I was worried about cooking on induction and having to buy a whole set of pans and for my surprise all the pots and pans I had at home worked fine with induction as they were already all stainless steel with iron base cookware.
