Rated 4 out of 5 by Batty from Still love the Lumix range for sheer versatility Great extra camera to carry in addition to SLR on wildlife trips, great selection of settings and can be as easy or complex as you chose. Still have an issue with the iris on the lens as this is very delicate and easy to damage, thus have to take extra care and can't just throw in my pocket which I'd like to do, as dust gets in easily. Overall still love the Lumix range and have kept my TZ30 for rougher days out. Love the sheer flexibility of this in a compact format, is a tad heavy but 4K video and the ability to extract stills a real plus for wildlife photography, how else do you catch a grass snake with its tongue out!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Trelowenan from Excellent all round camera. Great all round camera. Excellent for travel. (Used on a cruise to through the Suez canal/ Jordan/ Abu Dabai. No issues!) Loads of modes/ features. Creates some stunning images under the right conditions. Surprised by the quality of the zoom, when used to identify distant objects. i.e. birds. (Using the 30x zoom, then 4x magnification of the image on the screen.) Some issues with the touch screen when in use. i.e. focusing modes changing. Not as snappy as my digital SLR, but not the same price! Would recommend obtaining a printed manual, ( 400 pages!) to access all the features. Overall, I would recommend the camera, based on my ownership over the last 10 months, if you have the patience to explore all the features.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rodgydodge from Suits my needs. I do like this camera and for me the deciding purchase factor was the built in view finder. In the right conditions the results are superb and I have some bird shots on maximum zoom that are simply amazing for a camera of this size and price. Low light pictures on a camera with this sensor size will always be a disappointment but hey, that's what my expensive dslr is for. I like the fact that my TZ80 is very jacket pocketable and lightweight, just what I wanted and means that I can have it with me on far more occasions than I would lug my other gear around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Alfrick from Delighted with the results on a tough trip Specifically bought this camera for a long safari and a multi location trip. Took over 4,000 shots and have completed a 180 page high quality high resolution book. Assembled (and backed up) on the trip via Lightroom and then Blurb. When on the Safari many other shooters had multiple cameras with different lenses. While they were deciding which camera and which lens I was using the 24mm to 700mm Lumix TX 80 I completed multiple views and multiple shots with ease and accuracy . The balance between Picture Resolution and compact ease of use were perfect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Aliballyb from Great buy Bought this to replace the need to carry about camera bodies and lenses while on holiday. I still have a SLR for use at home as well as my TZ80 . It slips into my handbag and takes brilliant shots . I like some of the choices in the scene and artistsic button choices. I particularly like the one point colour which is brilliant for strong coloured flowers as they show up so well against the darker background. There are some occasional issues with the touch screen being a bit "touchy" itself as it can change when you did not want the settings changed. Reasonable zoom but pictures are a bit grainy at full zoom. Useful for me to identify birds at distance. Not sure about comment about dust getting in . I bought the leather case to protect the screen and lens.Have not got to grips with 4k yet but you need to spend time using the camera to get to grips with what it can do and what suits your photo style. It is not simply a point and shoot. Video is brilliant as I used inside at our holiday hotel in bad lighting . I think if you are a man with large fingers it might be a bit fiddly for some.I still have a lot to learn with this camera but like most of my results so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BelindaVT from Great photos, especially at night! Really happy with my new Lumix - great, clear shots both day and night. Only thing that could improve it is a flip out screen for selfies or shots up high / down low. But very happy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Frame6 from I would not buy this camera again I bought this to replace earlier model which was great - I thought this new model would be just as good - the pics are ok - it's the sensitive knobs and touch screen that seem to spoil the experience. It is quicker than previous versions - I find it fussy and very awkward in sunlight even when using eye piece.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Trevor from An excellent camera This is my first Panasonic camera. I have not tested all the functions that are available as yet,but on automatic, zoom, low light and video all have been excellent. This is a compact camera easy to carry around. Extremely good value for the money
