Rated 3 out of 5 by Macca7025 from The instructional quick start guide was insufficient in detail Being new to using a 'cooker' that includes a pressure cooker function, I had two areas of difficulty: starting the product and estimating cooking time when using the pressure cooker function. The quick start guide fails to say that when using the Bake position, the start/reheat button is sensitive and must be held down longer until the default 'time' changes to a series of flashing lines and the heating function commences. A list of guidelines about what types of meat is better cooked under pressure. I nuked the chicken recipe using thigh fillets. All I can say is thankyou to You Tube for lots of additional guidelines from a range of people and products.

Rated 2 out of 5 by racmicmel from No recipes Phillips and they still can not give me recipes for the Philips Premium Collection All-in-One 6L Multicooker HD2178/72 8710103792048e model they can only give me recipes from the older model, they keep sending me a link saying there is more on this page, but no there isn't for the HD2178 . https://www.philips.com.au/c-m-ho/philips-chef/recipe-overview-page I find the instructions not good and easy at all. Also in the recipe book there isn't even a basic stew in there. I find this machine complected and hard to use. For the price of the machine and getting a bad paper instructions and not a good recipe book this is bad. I won't be using the machine at all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by angelite from I really like this product. I am enjoying the fact that I can make great family meals quickly and easily in this machine. It did take me a few goes to get used to it but I am loving it now. The recipe book that comes with it is a bit of a disaster but there are plenty of recipes on line that you can easily adapt. I have made some great meals in it so far. I have not used the bake function as yet but I am sure it will be just as good as the other functions. About the only real negative I have is that despite thorough cleaning of the machine, according to the instruction book, it always smells of the last thing I cooked.

Rated 4 out of 5 by kath9507 from Everything you need in the kitchen. The Philips Premium AIO is an ideal addition to anyone's kitchen. It does everything we are told. The only drawback was there is no mention in the instruction manual that you must press and hold the "Start" button to commence operation as it is not so touch sensitive. Philips, this is would be an easy thing to include please.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wendy209 from Great product after a few initial hiccups I love using this product. Use it all the time. Did have a few hiccups with the start button. Didn't realize you had to really press the button for it to start. Doesn't state that and I think you need to put that into your instructions. I did have one thing go wrong recently when I baked the carrot cake in your recipe book. Wasn't cooked in the centre. Disappointing! But I'll try again. Maybe increase the timing?

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tezz from Has made our life easier! We just love our Phillips 4 in 1 cooker, we cook most nights in it. It is so quick and easy we have only had it for about a month we enjoy using the pressure cooker. I have a family daycare business so after making 3 meals for the children a day the last thing I feel like is cooking again but this is so simple and easy. Lamb shanks, casseroles, risotto, chowmein and my husband makes his soups on a Sunday for his lunches for the week in under an hour. We know there is more to learn and we are looking forward to expanding our menu and look forward to steaming fish etc in it. We would highly recommend this product and have told all our friends about. The only negative is we have trouble with the setting the clock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by pogo from Fantastic Time Saver I don't know how I managed without this machine! The food cooks easily stay moist and is always flavour packed. Potato Mash, Pulled Pork, Soups etc are fantastic. The main tip I can give is this machine does not need a lot of water. It is easy to clean and having both the non-stick bowl and the stainless steel bowl is a great option. If you want to get a multi cooker this is awesome. I've had slow cookers, rice makers etc before, but this is the easiest to operate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Malley from Unboxing & first use so the product is here, I'm all excited to be able to use it. I take it out of the box, no problems there. Wash and clean all the utensils & we are ready to go, I'm a male so don't need the instructions, lol. for my first attempt I will do pork spare ribs & homemade bbq sauce. I had to turn all the lights out & close the curtains to read the front screen, didn't realise there was a sticker over the front, maybe make it a clear sticker, doh. the end result was, it was fantastic cooked to perfection. cleaned like a breeze & ready for the next delight.
