Installation tips - due to difficulty in locating gearbox and transfer case breather positions on all vehicles, this kit is to be installed by a qualified mechanic/workshop that has a hoist with safety equipment available.

Some transfer cases, gearboxes, and diff housings will not have a threaded fitting for removal, they will have a pressed-in top cover/hat breather vent installed, in these cases a mechanic must install this kit as they will need to modify the pressed-in top cover/hat breather to allow rubber hose to be connected and then allowing connection to your diff breather kits hose/fittings/brass hose barbs.

Additional components may be required to install this kit depending upon your vehicle application and series.

Diesel manager diff breather kits are to be installed by licensed workshop that has access to a hoist with safety equipment available.

It is the vehicle owner’s responsibility to check and maintain this kit after installation. Example 1-Check that all hoses are always securely installed within the fittings in diffs, transfer case, gear box, or transmission (all breather points), and bulkhead breather-filter fitting within the mounting bracket. Example 2-Check breather filters have not been damaged at all as this will allow dust, water, and other unwanted contaminates to enter.
