Rumour has it the Pixel 11 will keep its familiar horizontal camera bar and refined form factor, while CAD renders point to slightly slimmer bezels and a restyled, blacked-out camera bar housing.3 In other words, it’s looking more like a polish than a complete Google Pixel makeover.
Colour options for the standard model are said to include Midnight Haze (black), Light Sterling (grey), Fuchsia (pink) and Moss (green). Meanwhile, leaks suggest the Pro models will come in Light Fog (white) and Midnight Haze, alongside several other shades.3
Display: Smooth Moves
A 6.3-inch OLED panel is on the cards for the Pixel 11, with leaked specs listing a 1080 x 2424 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It could also get an LTPO panel, allowing its refresh rate to drop as low as 1Hz when idle and jump to 120Hz on demand.4 Previously reserved for the Pro tier, this would be a welcome upgrade for the base model.
The Pros are tipped to go brighter still, with peak output reported as high as 3,600 nits. New Samsung OLED panels could also improve colour accuracy, though sources can’t quite agree on those brightness figures at the moment.5
Performance: A New Kind of Power
Under the hood, the big talking point is Google’s new Tensor G6 chip. It’s expected to use a more advanced 2nm design than the Tensor G5 inside the Pixel 10, potentially delivering faster, more efficient performance without turning up the heat.
Leaks show a seven-core CPU core – one fewer than the previous generation – which could help the Pixel 11 stay cooler when tackling demanding tasks.5 A new Tensor Processing Unit may also give on-device AI a helping hand, while a possible switch to MediaTek's M90 modem could mean faster, more reliable connectivity.6 Small chip, big expectations!
There could be more room to move, too. Word on the street is that the 128GB storage tier is also gone for good, with every model starting at a roomier 256GB.3 That means twice the starting storage for your photos, apps and everything in between.

This one, at least, is official. Google has confirmed the Made by Google event for August 12, 2026, in New York City with pre-orders opening the same day.1

Nothing is confirmed just yet, but the leaks have been pretty specific. A brief listing error on Google's own Amazon storefront reportedly exposed Pixel 11 pricing before it was swiftly pulled down.3

Cameras: Coming Into Focus
The early rumours didn’t always agree, but recent leaks have given us a clearer picture of the rumoured camera tech for the Pixel 11 Series.
The base Pixel 11 is said to sport a 48MP main sensor, internally codenamed “Chemosh”, alongside a returning 13MP ultrawide.7 Speculation suggests the physical sensor will be larger than before, meaning better low-light performance regardless of the megapixel count.
As for the Pro and Pro XL models, fresh leaks flag new main and telephoto sensors, along with features including up to 120x zoom and Ultra Low Light Video.8 If this all checks out, the Pixel 11 Pro could make light work of photography after dark.
HiLight: Ready to Glow
HiLight – previously thought to be called “Pixel Glow” – is one feature Google has effectively already confirmed, just not by name.9
