When the rug is cleaned or wet, it is best to move it out of the area and turn it upside down to dry the backing and the underside, as water can run through the rug. When placed on an uncovered wooden patio deck, we advise removing and/or flipping the rug during wet weather, as it may cause mould or a reaction between the latex and the wood's alkalis. The rug is water-resistant and should ideally be dried upside down. To extend the rug's longevity, we advise you to store it during bad weather and the winter months.
