Terms and Conditions of Entry (Terms)
1.Participation by an Entrant (as defined at clause 6) and Selected Nominee (as defined at clause 8) in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
2.The Promoter is Generic Publications Pty Ltd A.B.N. 35 104 215 241 of 21A Richmond Road, Homebush West NSW 2140. Telephone Number 02 9201 6026 (Promoter).
3.This Promotion is open to residents of Echuca in, Victoria residing in the 3561,3562, 3563, 3564, 3565, and 3566 postcodes only. Officers, employees and immediate families of officers and employees of the Promoter and their related bodies corporate and contractors, and any other organisation associated with this Promotion, are ineligible to enter.
4.The Promotion commences on Monday, 3rd November 2025 at 9:00am AEDT and closes on Wednesday 26th November 2025 at 11.59pm AEDT (Promotion Period).
5.An individual may participate in the Promotion by nominating a local business, local charity, sporting club or local volunteer (each a Nominee) by completing an Entry (as defined below). Each individual who nominates a Nominee in the Promotion and completes an Entry (as defined below) is an “Entrant”.
6.To enter the Promotion, each Entrant must:
(a)visit https://www.harveynorman.com.au/promos/pml-giveaway;
(b)complete an entry form with:
i.the name, address, daytime telephone number, email and date of birth of the Entrant.
ii.the name and the website or social media page of their Nominee (if applicable); and
(c)write, in 25 words or less, about a local business, charity, sporting club or volunteer that the Entrant considers deserves to win a $2,000 Harvey Norman® Gift Card, and the reasons why; and
(d)reading and agreeing to these Terms by ticking “I have read and agreed to the terms and conditions of this Promotion”.
(each an Entry).
7.The Promoter shall select three Nominees based on the content of the Entries (each a Selected Nominee). This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the Selected Nominee. Judging for the prize will take place at B1 Richmond Road, Homebush West NSW 2140 on Thursday 27th November 2025 at 10am (Judging).
8.Each Selected Nominee shall receive one Harvey Norman® Gift Card loaded with $2,000.00 (each a Nominated Prize), which may be used to purchase products or services at any Harvey Norman®, Domayne® or Joyce Mayne® branded franchisee in Australia, subject to the terms and conditions available here: https://www.harveynorman.com.au/gift-cards-terms-and-conditions. The Selected Nominee must read and accept these Terms prior to accepting the Nominated Prize, and if the Selected Nominee does not accept these Terms, the Selected Nominee must not accept the Nominated Prize.
9.The total Nominated Prize pool of this Promotion is $6,000, being three Nominated Prizes.
10.One Entry per person only during the Promotion Period. For the avoidance of doubt, an Entrant shall not receive a Nominated Prize, or any prize of monetary value, for completing an Entry.
11.The Entrant that had nominated the Selected Nominee (Selected Entrant) will be notified by phone and in writing immediately after Judging and before 12:00pm AEST Thursday 27th November 2025.
12.To redeem the Nominated Prize, the Selected Entrant must notify the Selected Nominee, and the Selected Nominee must contact the Promoter by 12:00PM AEST Friday 28th November to redeem the Nominated Prize. Entrant and the Selected Nominee must provide the Promoter with such information and documentation as may be required by the Promoter to verify the Entry.
13.The Promoter also reserves the right to:
(a)request the Entrant or Selected Nominee (or both) to provide suitable identification of proof of age and identity prior to awarding a Nominated Prize;
(b)verify entries and claims for Nominated Prizes;
(c)disqualify an Entrant, or a Nominee, where the Entry process has been tampered with. Entries that are illegible, incomplete or do not comply with these Terms will be deemed invalid;
(d)announce or publish (or both) the name of the Selected Entrant and Selected Nominee for the purpose of notifying the public about the Selected Nominee;
14.Each Selected Nominee, along with the Entrant that had nominated the Selected Nominee (Selected Entrant), may be granted the opportunity to appear on the Paul Murray Live television broadcast (Broadcast) by appearing in a pre-filmed segment that shall be filmed on Saturday 29th November 2025 at a selected location within the Echuca, Victoria area (Filming Day). It is not a requirement of the Selected Nominee or the Selected Entrant to appear on the Broadcast or the Filming Day. If the Selected Nominee or the Selected Entrant (or both) agree to appear on the Broadcast and the Filming Day, the Selected Nominee or the Selected Entrant (or both) may be asked to review and sign an acceptance form which may include a consent to broadcast (such as image or footage release), allocation of liability, and any one or more waivers (as appropriate). The Broadcast shall be aired on Sky News on Foxtel, Channel 102 and 600 – Sky News on Regional, Channel 56 in Victoria, Southern New South Wales and Queensland, Channel 53 in Northern New South Wales Sunday 30th November 2025 at 9pm AEST.
15.The names of each Selected Nominee and Selected Entrant will be published online at www.harveynorman.com.au/winnerannouncements on Friday, 28th November 2025.
16.The Nominated Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
17.Judging for any unclaimed or unaccepted prize will take place at Harvey Norman® Sponsorships Office, B1 Richmond Road, Homebush West NSW 2140 on Friday 28th November 2025 at 12:30pm AEST (Unclaimed Prize).
18.Subject to the law, the Promoter may at its absolute discretion, suspend, cancel or recommence the Promotion if:
(a)for any reason the Promotion is not capable of proceeding as planned;
(b)the Promotion is corrupted or the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion is affected; or
(c)the determination of the Selected Nominee or delivery of the Nominated Prize is prevented or hindered by any event outside the Promoter’s control.
(d)except for any liability not excluded by law, each Entrant and Selected Nominee releases and indemnifies the Promoter from and against all actions, claims and liabilities, that the Entrant now has or in the future may have against the Promoter for any loss, damage or injury (including any special or consequential loss) suffered as a direct or indirect result of the participation of the Entrant in the Promotion, or the acceptance of or use of a Prize (or both).
19.The decision of the Promoter in relation to this Promotion is final and binding on each Entrant and each Selected Nominee, and the Promoter will not enter into any correspondence.
20.In the event an Entrant or Selected Nominee has a concern, question or dispute in relation to the conduct of the Promotion, or the process for claiming a Nominated Prize (or both), the Entrant or Selected Nominee may email the Promoter via enquiries@gpadvertising.com.au
21.By entering the Promotion, each Entrant consents to their personal information being collected by the Promoter (and any related party of the Promoter, or any other entity as advised by the Promoter) and used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the Promotion and notifying Selected Entrants Selected Nominee.
22.All personal details of an Entrant and Selected Nominee will be stored at the office of the Promoter in accordance with the Privacy Policy of the Promoter, the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter.
23.The laws of Victoria apply to this Promotion. By participating in the Promotion, each Entrant and Selected Nominee unconditionally submits to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
