Description

Sir Ocelot and Professor Penguin are exploring a newly discovered cave system, competing for the most precious gemstones hidden deep inside. To locate and collect treasures, players use tools — compasses, lamps, and pickaxes — along with the instincts of their loyal companions. The deeper the rivals venture into the cave, the rarer and more valuable the discoveries: gemstones, geodes, and celestites await!

On your turn, place one of your tokens — either a tool or your companion — onto the game board. When a cave token is “seen” from three different sides by all three tool types, it can be claimed. Collecting geodes or complete sets of celestites allows you to draw amethyst tiles from the appropriate cave level bag. Each amethyst has a fixed value or scores conditionally based on the cave tokens collected.

After sixteen turns, once all tokens are placed, the player with the most valuable gemstone collection is declared the winner.
