SnapSwap 4-Toolhead System
The Snapmaker U1 Toolchanger 3D Printer features four independent, preheated toolheads that keep different colours or materials ready to print, switching the complete toolhead in up to 5 seconds. Unlike shared-nozzle systems that require unloading, reloading, and purging, it enables faster, cleaner transitions with less material waste.
Multi-Colour, Multi-Material Printing
Load up to four filaments simultaneously to combine multiple colours, rigid and flexible materials, soluble supports, multiple TPU colours and hardness levels in one project. It can deliver up to 5× faster printing with up to 80% less filament waste by reducing the purging required during multi-colour printing.
High-Speed Printing with Smart Calibration
Powered by a compact CoreXY motion system, the Snapmaker U1 Toolchanger 3D Printer can reach speeds of up to 500mm/s with acceleration up to 20,000mm/s², helping complete prototypes, functional parts, and detailed multi-colour models faster. Automatic bed levelling, vibration compensation, flow adjustment, pressure advance, and toolhead offset calibration help maintain precise alignment, smooth surfaces, and consistent print quality with less manual tuning.
Larger-Scale Printing
The 270 × 270 × 270mm build volume provides room for larger creations, multi-part projects or multiple models in a single print job. The Snapmaker U1 3D Printer supports auto-loading plus Backup Mode, which can automatically switch to a matching spool when filament runs out.
