Rated 5 out of 5 by Jennine9 from I like the way you can cook healthy meals with this product. I have had 2 air fyers since they were first introduced on the market. One mainly for meat and the other for veges chips etc. I very rarely use my stove or oven anymore and am just about to upgrade both for the XL model. I love the easy way I can cook just about anything. Yes it does smoke a little with certain meats but while it is still warm after use, I wipe up on the inside around the element to remove all fats if any. I also cook under the rangehood to eliminate any smoking. This only occurs with the thicker cuts that sit higher in the fryer. I cant wait to get my XL ones and cant brag about this product enough.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rochel from I loved it while it lasted It will be something you use every day, especially with the new attachments of the new pans. Did everything in it and worked well. Unfortunately I have had the electrics replaced 3 times which was a pain to go back and forth. Still didn't work properly kept on adding time almost burning my dinner a couple of times but couldn't be bothered getting it back to the workshop to out of my way. Well it finally died and Im devastated my kitchen feels empty. I think next time no digital XL go back to the dial probably will last longer. Now its out of warranty anyway and Im stuck with my new attachment insert thats only 3 months old.

Rated 5 out of 5 by cammic from Best appliance I have I upgraded from the previous model air fryer to the new XL, just because of the larger capacity. I use it nearly every day and I have not found anything that I can't cook in it. I have done, bacon, sausages, steak, whole chicken, chicken drum sticks, prawns, roast vegetables (does them to perfection in about 10 mins!!!) whole roast chicken, lamb cutlets, and of course home made potato and sweet potato chips. Forget the fry pan and the oven.....get an XL Fyer

Rated 4 out of 5 by Smokeybear from Love the larger size, not the smell & smoke We had had one of the smaller Air fryer since mid year and have loved it. Always thought a bit bigger would be great and then the XL comes along. We have had the XL for a few weeks now, and a couple of things that we have noticed are; faster cooking time easier cleaning no new recipes in the provided book (roasts etc) XL emits more smell and smoke than the small one even when cooking same foods as previous one (have to open a outside door, which is disappointing) Longer timer (1hr) allows for roasts and bread cooking. love the cooking speed and healthy nature of these machines.

Rated 5 out of 5 by laritay from This product is so good I bought a second one This is the best piece of kitchen equipment I've ever purchased, so good in fact, that yesterday I bought a second one. I now have one in white as well as one in black. I bake my own bread in it, larger size loaves in 28 mins and smaller in 18 mins. I make THE BEST roast pork crackling I've ever tasted, and use it regularly for air-fryed crispy salmon pieces with wedge-style potato chips. Now that I have two air-fryers, I can use one for the meat of the main meal, and the other for the accompanying veges , both simultaneously, making meal-time peparation the quickest ever! I can also keep one for savoury dishes and one for baking bread and cooking sweet dishes if I like. A handy "carry-bag" to place it in would be a great idea as an added accessory, since I like to take mine with me on holidays, and to show my family how easy, quick, and healthy it is to use and clean. I would love to be able to buy the equipment parts separately as extra accessories too, in order to have multiple baskets and base drawer containers to use, to interchange between types of dishes and times cooked, or while one lot is in the dishwasher, or if one is resting aside for further cooking or reheating in the same basket, I can carry on cooking something else in-between in another basket. It would be handy to have a handle on the main drawer container as well. Perhaps the inner basket handle could be moulded to slot inside the larger main container handle, if they make one, so that they form one connected handle when co-joined. A "cheats" cook book with just the temperatures and times required for various cuts of meat and food types would be ideal also. I am making up my own up as I go, experimenting with different meals. E.g., Large Loaf Bread, 200 degrees 18 mins one side, take out turn over in pan wet top, further cook 200 degrees 10 mins or T-bone steaks 180 degrees 12 mins, turn over 200 degrees 3 mins or whole roast chook 200 degrees 30 mins, turn over 200 degrees 10 mins or salmon 180 degrees 12 mins, 200 degrees 2 mins And so on. You could list time variations for fresh versus frozen foods, and large or whole cuts of meat verses individual pieces. I love the on-line recipies and have downloaded and printed out many of them and am forming a recipe book gradually. I have definitely recommended this wonderful kitchen tool to all friends and family, as well as several strangers on occasion I use it/them every day, or every second day at least. Extremely satisfied with this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Paulp from Excellent for cooking Started with the small air fryer and loved it so much decided to upgrade to the XL. It is the most used appliance in our kitchen for cooking almost anything that went into the oven before. Had to return one when the digital panel died after a year or so. Only niggle is the smoke. Foods that caused no smoke in the small version cause the XL version to produce great volumes of white smoke. I am aware of Phillips recommendations for dealing with this but given that we never had a problem with the small one it does seem to be something of a design fault.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pip64 from This is all you need. If you were a couple you would not need an oven. Things I've cooked with this appliance. Pies, chicken kievs, roasted vegetables (for 4 people) roast pork ( crackle was fantastic).

Rated 5 out of 5 by lOulou from So good I have just upgraded to this larger version as I loved using the previous model so much that I bought my son one and convinced my work to buy two for their cookery classes. The newer larger version cooks that little bit quicker and the basket holds more. I have never had that horrible taste of oily food from anything cooked in the fryer. It's so easy to wash too I just put both the basket and bowl in the dishwasher! The only thing I was disappointed with is the recipe book has no recipes for cooking things like roast dinners and has pages on dips which are not made in the fryer.
